Research

Numerous projects have been conducted at the department, including:

  • Modernisation of Vocational Education in Lower Silesia II,” Priority IX – improving the attractiveness and quality of vocational education, Human Capital Operational Programme, financed by the Lower Silesian Centre for Vocational Information and Teacher Training in Wałbrzych and the European Union 2012–2015.
  • “Healthy Diet School,” financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund and Human Capital programmes, National Cohesion Strategy 2012/13.
  • “Healthy Student” – psychological, environmental and socio-economic determinants of the health of lower secondary school students from Wrocław. The project was planned for 2015–2017 and implemented in cooperation with the Municipality of Wrocław: Department of Education and Department of Health and Social Affairs.
  • Culinary workshops – “Enjoy the Taste of Health.” The project was carried out as part of the European Funds Open Days.
  • The first, second and third edition of “ABC of a Healthy Diet” – a nationwide educational and research project focused on educational activities aimed mainly at children and adolescents and people over 65 years of age. The addressees/beneficiaries of the project included people in a difficult financial situation, who were provided with ideas for inexpensive and healthy food.
